Beta builder: Create-A-World Tool (The Sims 3)

Hey, now this I hadn’t spotted. EA have released a beta version of its Sims 3 ‘Create A World’ tool, which appears to do exactly what it says on the tin. It might be a little removed from usual mod-stuff, but from the looks of it this world-builder is a surprisingly nifty little program, and plenty versatile. I mean, you can apparently do stuff like the above. “Download for free and step into the shoes of The Sims 3 development team by using the same tools the team uses to create worlds and towns for The Sims 3,” says the website. I don’t have a copy of The Sims 3, but I’d be curious to hear what this is like from anyone who does.

The Sims is my guilty pleasure and one that I return to every once in a while. This sounds like a good time to give it another shot!
