Mods wouldn’t exist without strong, dedicated fan bases. Community is what drives user-developers to create innovative and exciting new content, and community is what UserCreated is all about. In order to increase our connectivity with you, we’ve created a Steam group for you readers to join. Read more after the break!
We’ve created this group for two main reasons. The first and biggest reason: To easily organize game nights for under-populated multiplayer mods that have either slipped under the mass media radar or have fallen victim to time. If you have ever gone mod-hunting and have come across what appears to be an excellent mod that you then download, install, and launch only to find there are no existing or occupied servers: This group is for you.
The second reason for the group falls within the realm of mass feedback and discussion: Chat rooms. While comment sections and forums are excellent places for expression of personal opinion, there often isn’t an opportunity for a strong give and take of information between users that exists within a chat room. Steam provides that opportunity.
Gamers love to meet like-minded gamers. It can sometimes be hard to find a group of friends to play a game with, let alone a group of friends to play a mod.
If you like to play multiplayer mods, or if you like chat room discussions of various topics floating around in the mod-verse, or if you simply want to be deemed awesome: Join the group now!
